To turn on the solar light, use the ON/OFF switch. To replace battery, use a screwdriver to open the battery compartment. Insert 1 x 1.2V AAA 100mAh Ni-MH Rechargeable Replaceable Battery (Included) into the compartment making sure the polarity (+/-) is as indicated. Replace with a battery of the same size each year for optimum performance. Replace the battery cover ensuring it is securely fastened. Never allow children to attempt to replace batteries, this should always be done by an adult. Always remove spent batteries. Never attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
