Please read the following carefully to ensure the satisfactory and safe operation of the lights. USING YOUR NEW LIGHTS: Carefully remove the lights from the display packaging and unravel the cable taking care not to stretch and damage the cable and lights. Do not use if the insulation or bulbs have been damaged, dispose of them safely. Cable must be positioned so it is not a tripping or entanglement hazard. The item has a dual function- flashing or static lights. To activate the solar sensor, slide the switch from 'OFF' position to either 'S' for static lights, or 'F' position for flashing lights. Place in desired location. Ensure that the solar panel is placed in direct sunlight for 6-8 hours. The solar lights will automatically turn on at dusk and shut off at dawn. To turn the lights & solar panel off completely, slide or press the switch to the OFF' position.

Solar powered lights work by recharging their built in battery daily from electricity converted from sunlight via the solar panel. The lights are turned on automatically by a sensor at night. The more sunlight the solar panel receives in the day, the longer the lights will operate that night.

Operating time will vary by specific location and amount of sunlight received, so ensure that the solar panel is positioned in a location that will receive good sunlight during the day and is not shaded by buildings or trees etc. on that will receive good sunlight during the day and is not shaded by buildings or trees etc. Keep the solar panel clear of dust, snow and debris. Clean it with a soft damp cloth periodically. Do not use corrosive cleaning agents or chemical solutions.

The selected location should not be near night time light sources such as a porch light or street lights, as these may cause the solar light to turn off prematurely. Do not charge behind glass. FOR YOUR SAFETY: Do not operate in packaging. Do not allow any part to come into contact with excessive heat or naked flame. This product is not a toy. Keep pets away from these lights and ensure that children are supervised and do not play with them.

BATTERIES USED: 1 x 3.7V 14500 500mAh Li-ion replaceable rechargeable battery (INCLUDED). Replace with a battery of the same size each year for optimum performance. To remove and replace batteries use a screwdriver to open the battery compartment. Insert 1 battery into the compartment making sure the polarity (+/-] is as indicated. Only replace with rechargeable batteries of the type stated. Replace the battery cover ensuring it is securely fastened. Always remove spent batteries. Never allow children to attempt to replace batteries, this should always be done by an adult. Never attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries. Supply terminals are not to be short circuited. Recycle used batteries responsibly. Do not dispose of in household waste. As with any rechargeable battery, the period of time that the battery will hold charge will decrease during the life of the battery. If the item is not to be used for an extended period, it is recommended that the unit is switched off to preserve the batteries. To prolong the life of the product, it is recommended to store the product indoors in a dry location during the winter months.
