A handful of fresh leafy greens adds both variety and enrichment to the diet. Adding small amounts of healthy natural treats helps provide interaction and support wellbeing. When changing your guinea pig's food, always ensure that you introduce their new food gradually. Gradually increase the new and decrease the old over a period of approximately 14-21 days. If switching from a muesli style diet, then increase the transition period to 28 days.
