(£1.66/100g)

Six milk chocolate whirls with fondant centres topped with a walnut piece.

WALNUT WHIP® multipack, six delicious creamy chocolate whirls, encasing a smooth fondant creamy centre, topped with a walnut piece.

WALNUT WHIP® was originally launched in 1910 by Duncan's of Edinburgh at their Beaverhall Road factory and is now Nestle Confectionery's oldest current chocolate brands.

The WALNUT WHIP® product is an iconic whirl-shaped cone and over the decades a number of flavour variants were launched. Flavours have included: Coffee, Mint and Maple, to name a few, however the most popular was Vanilla and this is currently the only flavour available for shoppers in the UK market.

Originally the chocolate whips were hand made by workers who extruded chocolate from a piping bag onto a board, which generated the original ridged surface. When production was moved from the original Beaverhall Road factory in the late 1970's the manufacturing process changed from being hand made to being hollow moulded by machine. However the walnuts are still placed by hand onto the top of each whip.
