BEFORE FIRST USE: Carefully remove the lights from the display packaging and unravel the cable taking care not to stretch or damage the lights. When choosing a location for your lights, you should make sure that the socket you decide to use is close enough to the area you wish to decorate and that the cable will reach without becoming an obstacle or hazard. Remember! This light set can be used as an indoor decoration and outside use but please ensure that the adaptor remains indoors and not in wet, damp or excessively humid conditions. The lights use non-replaceable LED bulbs but the bulbs have been designed to give many hours of use. Do not hang lights outdoors in wet or windy weather.

FOR YOUR SAFETY: Do not operate in packaging. Do not connect the chain to the supply whilst in the packaging. This light set is for indoor or outdoor use but please ensure that the adaptor remains indoors. Do not attempt to replace the “non-replaceable” bulbs. Do not connect this chain electrically to another product. Disconnect from the mains supply when not in use or unattended for long periods. Do not allow any part to come into contact with excessive heat or naked flames. Ensure that the bulbs are not covered by decorations and ensure adequate airflow around each bulb. Avoid damage to the wiring. Do not use if the insulation has been damaged. If the insulation or wiring has been damaged you must discard the light set. Always unplug from the mains supply whilst installing, carrying out maintenance or making adjustments.

TO CONNECT FESTOON LIGHTS TOGETHER: Locate the connector plug at the end of the first festoon light string. Plug this connector into the corresponding input socket at the beginning of the next string. Make sure the connections are secure, screw them tightly to prevent water ingress. Repeat this process for additional strings, following the manufacturer's guidelines on the maximum number of lights you can safely connect*. Finally, plug the extended string into a power source, and test to ensure all lights are working correctly.

CONTROLLING THE LIGHT SEQUENCE: You can achieve the following light sequences by pressing the button located on the control box:

• 1. Combination
• 2. Waves
• 3. Sequential
• 4. Slow Glow
• 5. Chasing
• 6. Slow Fade
• 7. Twinkle
• 8. Steady On

To set and reset timer, press button for 3 seconds, 6 Hours on/18 Hours off Green light -timer is on.
